The History Of Syfo
The Syfo Brand was established in 1949. Syfo founder Charles Schussler started the business making and distributing seltzer water in siphon canisters in New York City. Customers would ask for "syfos" of seltzer water, and the name that would become synonymous with quality was born.


Where Syfo Is Distributed
The Syfo Brand of Beverages has attracted a substantial base of loyal customers. Syfo can be found throughout the southeast at Publix Super Markets and Winn-Dixie Stores. It is distributed to various retail outlets by Associated Grocers, Organica, Southeast Wholesale and BC Coffee. We also export to the Caribbean and Bermuda.


Universal Beverages
With our state-of-the-art production facility in Leesburg, Florida, and distribution networks in some of the largest grocery chains in the country, Universal is a full-service beverage company–delivering its proprietary brand of beverage as well as contract packing for other companies. We have built our strength of reputation on our Syfo Brand of Beverages, which includes Original Seltzer and Naturally-Flavored Sparkling Waters and Purified Drinking Water.


Syfo Is Certified Kosher
In addition to being one of the healthiest beverages on the market, the entire Syfo product line is certified Kosher by the largest and most widely respected Kashruth agency–the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America. When you see the Kosher trademark, you can be sure that the greatest care has gone into the production of every bottle of Syfo.
