Several months ago we reported on a study by the Empire State Consumer project that revealed alarming high levels of arsenic and heavy metals in apple juice, especially apple juice imported from China. Dr. Mehmet Oz reported on similar findings at the time and both the FDA and the apple juice industry responded vigorously that any arsenic levels were minimal and of no threat to human health.
