In 1949, an entrepreneur named Charles Schussler started a business making and delivering seltzer water from the back of his beer buggy throughout his home borough of Brooklyn, New York. The seltzer water in those days was bottled in siphon canisters (also spelled syphon) and people would ask for "syfos" of seltzer water and the name that would become synonymous with quality was born.

The company relocated to Florida where it continued to build an ever expanding baseof loyal customers who will go to any length to get their Syfo (click here read their testimonials). Along with its distribution, Syfo's product line expanded. In addition to Original Seltzer there are now Naturally-Flavored Sparkling Waters in three delicious flavors.
